We are a member club of the Florida Region of USAV Volleyball.  As a player you may stop any unwanted contact from a club representative simply by asking (either verbally or in writing) that all contact cease.  Any player believing a club representative of any florida Region Volleyball club has been intimidating, harassing, or acted inappropriately in any manner of contact or recruiting should contact the Florida Region office at (352)742-0080.

Bob Nichols - Director

Coach Bob has served as director and head coach for Blue Lightning Volleyball for 8 years and has over 30 years of volleyball experience. 
CAP 2 certified coach...current head coach of North Marion High School and Howard Bishop MS. Coach Bob, as well as all of our dedicated coaches, are committed to train and develop young athletes to meet and surpass personal and team goals. Whether you are a player or parent,Blue Lightning will produce a well rounded experience with results.

*   Volleyball experience began in 1968, earning numerous championships as a player

*     Cap 2, Cap 1, Impact and Florida Dept of Education Certified

*   Current Head Coach North Marion High School

*   Head Coach, Howard Bishop Middle School

*   Head Coach Eastside High 2003-2009 
     record 147 wins - 39 losses.  
     Back to back district championships & regional finalist
 
*   University of Florida Men's Volleyball Club Coach - 4 years
